The Global Hip Dysplasia Registry (GHDR) is looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join our Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) Advisory Board.

This is your chance to help shape the future of research, treatment, and care for children with DDH around the world.

About the Global Hip Dysplasia Registry (GHDR)

The GHDR is the largest international registry dedicated to understanding and improving outcomes for children diagnosed with DDH. With over 10,000 patients recruited from 30 sites across 5 continents, our collaborative effort collects and analyzes patient data to:

  • Improve diagnosis and early detection of DDH.

  • Compare treatment approaches worldwide.

  • Identify best practices and close care gaps.

  • Guide future research priorities.

Our mission is simple but powerful:

Use global data to create global change in pediatric hip health.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, especially those with:

  • Lived experience with DDH (patients, parents, caregivers).

  • Professional expertise in healthcare, research, or advocacy.

  • A passion for improving outcomes for children and families affected by DDH.

  • Willingness to collaborate with an international team.

 

About the Advisory Board

The DDH Advisory Board is a diverse group of parents, caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and individuals with lived experience.

Together, we:

  • Provide patient and family perspectives on GHDR research priorities.

  • Review and advise on study design and communication materials.

  • Help ensure that research remains patient-centered and globally relevant.

  • Advocate for awareness and improved care in our communities.
